Illicit drugs, alcohol, and smoking all have negative effects on the body, some of which include problems with the male member. Smoking, in particular, causes blocked veins in the penis which cuts off blood flow and prevent erection unless the blockage is removed. It can also damage sperm as well.
Women knew this was the problem, as they found their interest was much higher when they were on holiday. Often outstripped their partner's ability.
